The customer service at this beachfront accommodation was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such warmth and hospitality that it felt like we were on our honeymoon. The owner personally greeted us and the refreshing welcome drink was a delightful touch. The design of the bungalows was top-notch, and the restaurant felt like a cozy dining room. The entire place had a homely vibe that was so inviting. The staff, led by Marie, were all so lovely and attentive. As someone from the Philippines, I can truly appreciate exceptional hospitality, and this place exceeded all my expectations. We initially planned for a 5-night stay, but we couldn't bear to leave this paradise and ended up extending our stay by 2 more nights. I can't stop gushing about this incredible place on my Instagram, and my friends in London are already eager to visit. We will definitely be coming back in the near future. I miss having the black snapper fish at dinner and the refreshing champagne and cherry drink. The food here is excellent, the staff are friendly, and waking up to the stunning view every morning was simply breathtaking. Gili Gede is a hidden gem, peaceful and off the beaten track. The coral reefs around Gede were far superior to the ones we experienced in the North West Gilis. Marie, our host, is truly amazing, and our stay here was nothing short of magical. The attention to detail in the rooms and the overall design was exquisite. The breakfasts were a real treat, and the service was always friendly and attentive. We took the snorkeling trip, which turned out to be the best snorkeling experience we've ever had, thanks to Marie's expertise in knowing all about the different species. The cleanliness of the rooms, with the daily cleaning done during our meals, was a lovely touch. Marie was always available to assist with transportation arrangements, making our arrival and departure seamless. There was excellent snorkeling right outside the property, with the best spot being around 50m to the right of Thamarind Guest House. I highly recommend staying here if you have the chance - it truly is a magical place. Thank you to Marie, Made, and all the staff for sharing this incredible experience with us. From the start, Marie arranged our taxi and boat transfers, making the journey to the island effortless. The four bungalows were absolutely beautiful, and witnessing the jaw-dropping sunrise from our room was a sight to behold. The beanbags were incredibly comfortable, and sipping on a virgin pina colada was the perfect way to relax. The restaurant served delicious food and drinks, and the atmosphere was so laid-back and inviting. The snorkeling tour they organized for us was unforgettable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The room was big size, I had really nice experience.

The staff was attentive and helpful, so I will come back. Every detail was perfect and I enjoyed it. I booked a room with a very comfy bed, climate control, a seating area, and a private entrance. The location offered was amazing and good really close to the services offered: snorkeling and cooking and quiet and the stunning blue ocean. The food was excellent, had a wide range of options.

Location: the hotel was not far from Gili Gede on a pristine sand beach, the restaurant and the ancient temples and ruins. We spent 2 nights in brand-new and spacious room with its own private bathroom...

The location here is just perfect, surrounded by the tranquility of ancient temples and ruins that Indonesia is known for, as well as overlooking the bay 🌴.

The rooms were amazing, each one had its own really nice bathroom. the staff was so friendly and took great care of everyone 🌟.

I couldn't have asked for a better value for my money at this beachfront paradise. The room was comfortable and clean, with stunning views of the sea and white sand. The staff at Alam Karang were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel like I was on a honeymoon. Marie, the owner, personally greeted us and made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, with snorkeling right in front of the hotel and the option to explore the nearby island. I can't wait to return to this little slice of heaven in the near future.

The bungalows were lovely, with a natural feel and right on the beach. The location was excellent, offering a quiet and peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle. One of the highlights was the amazing snorkeling experience, with vibrant coral reefs just steps away from the bungalows.

There were a lot of destroyed coral on the beach, which was disheartening to see. the host was quite judgmental, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable at times.

The room at Alam Karang was absolutely amazing! It had a private bathroom with free toiletries and a shower. The best part was the breathtaking sea view right from the room. I loved the cozy seating area, it made me feel right at home.

The only thing I liked less was the private entrance. It's just my personal opinion, others might still enjoy it.

Wonderful Sunset View and Delicious Homemade Food

During our stay at a charming accommodation in a tropical destination, we were mesmerized by the beautiful sunset right in front of our room. The view was absolutely breathtaking and created a serene atmosphere for us to unwind and relax. Additionally, the homemade food served at the establishment was superb. Every meal was prepared with love and care, making our dining experience truly delightful.

Although there was no hot water for showering and no hair dryer available, it didn't bother us much. The cool showers were actually quite refreshing, especially considering the windy climate which helped dry our hair quickly.

If you're looking for a peaceful getaway on a secluded tropical beach, this resort is the perfect choice. The bungalows are located just in front of the beach, offering stunning views and easy access to the water. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, with daily housekeeping and air conditioning to ensure a pleasant stay. The friendly staff goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome, providing excellent service and little touches that make a big difference. The breakfast is delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. the location, room, and service at this beachfront resort are absolutely top-notch!

The only downside is that the location is a bit out of the way, but the detour is well worth it for the tranquil and picturesque setting.

I keep coming back because I always have a great time. The staff is helpful and friendly. They even fixed some technical issues for me. The place has everything I need: free Wi-Fi, bar, restaurant, beach access, and more. Can't wait to come back for my next holiday!
